# Seed > Seed is a personal voice timeline for quick thoughts throughout the day. Capture an idea, carry on, then read the day together in one continuous Timeline organized by day and time. Search, highlight passages and apply strikethrough during your own review. It is designed for people who think out loud, including writers, designers and builders. It records from iPhone and Apple Watch, supports Siri and Shortcuts, and keeps the original transcript alongside a cleaner reading version when Apple Intelligence is available. Processing stays on the iPhone by default, with no account or developer data collection. Eligible iOS 27 devices can opt into Apple Private Cloud Compute for the reading version and short titles; audio transcription stays on the iPhone. Spoken lists can become bullets or interactive checklists, with checkbox states shared between iPhone and Watch. Timeline opens first and collects reading versions by day and time. Recordings and Timeline timestamps open original text and playback. Both browsing views support search; Settings is in the top-right menu. Recording rows show Processing text until post-processing finishes. Seed has no subscription, and Apple applies PCC usage limits. Optional webhooks send original transcripts to the user's own agent or automation. ## Docs - [Seed](https://seed.donado.co/index.md): what the app does, the shipped features, and where to go next. - [Webhook API](https://seed.donado.co/webhook.md): the POST body, the `X-Webhook-Signature` header, retry schedule and a working receiver. Same document that ships in the repository. - [Live Transcription API](https://seed.donado.co/live-transcription.md): the WebSocket contract a custom server speaks to stream a transcript while recording. The shipped app does not offer live transcription; this is the contract a future release would use. - [Support](https://seed.donado.co/support.md): how a recording travels from the microphone to your endpoint, the first things to check when it does not, and the contact address. - [Privacy](https://seed.donado.co/privacy.md): where audio and transcripts can go, and how to delete everything.
